I had been keeping my eyes posted to social media for a good bit. Roughly since the beginning of April when a local named Chris Johnston had showed that his SEMA built RX7 was finally back in the state and was going to be brought to a future event. Needless to say a ton of work had been put into this beautiful machine and not a single area on the vehicle hadn’t been touched. Going into this event I knew I wanted to grab some interesting shots of it though that would be a tad difficult as the crowd had continuously grew larger and larger surrounding it.

Quickly grabbing as many as I could and taking another moment to marvel at what a beast this thing was I ventured through the rest of the event that by 8:30 had not only managed to fill the malls parking lot but had also begun filling up the overflow and the spectators (who aren’t showcasing vehicles) lot. Needless to say there were many other interesting vehicles there to grab shots including a breathtakingly clean Midnight Purple III R33. A Honda fitted with many Mugen parts, custom Recaro upholstery, and a single jingle that had an inlet larger than your fist.

Other notable vehicles included a Ferrari Muira, a first for me. A Lotus Esprit that was hiding behind the building of the overflow lot, a supra that had enough exterior aero attached to keep the lightest of a feather planted to the seat and a slammed and patina’d Chevrolet on air suspension that would put the overly-cambered stanced cars to shame.
